Lake Placid

G'day Folks,

We went paddling on Lake Placid this afternoon. Matt's right -there is no better way to view the rainforest than from the water.

Pina Colada Day

Hey everyone :)

We had our Pina Colada Day here at Matt's yesterday and met some more of his friends. It was a great time hanging out on the back porch with those nutty cockatoos flying and screeching all around.

Be looking out for pictures of my death march up Spring Creek Falls while my bro was at work taking it easy.

Glacier Rock

G'day folks :) My First "adventure" - hiking up Glacier Rock.

Glacier Rock is about a 8k hike to look down over Cairns and Trinity Bay. On our way up, we came across a fellow bushwalker named Fiona - she's in the background of one pic and standing with me atop the Rock in another. And that funny looking bloke with me in another pic is Doug - he works with Matt.

Tomorrow we'll be taking the Sky Rail (basically a gondolla ride) up over and through the rainforest to a small town called Kuranda and take a look around and then take the rainforest train (The Kuranda railway) back down.
